Evaluations
July 2019: Leishman is following up a strong spring with continued success against older players. With her TOH team she’s had multiple matchups against 17U teams and she really holds her own. She’s fierce attacking off the dribble and makes good reads when she draws help. She has solid handle, can attack with both hands and is getting length in her frame and using it well.
May 2019: Leishman was among the smallest in the trials but her fearless mentality allowed her to survive in this environment. She has quickness and toughness on her side. She’s an unselfish lead guard. At age level she scores the ball better than she did here. She’s one in the northwest to keep an eye on to see if her build changes.
July 2018: For years we’ve seen Rylee compete at camp being so much younger than everyone. She’s fearless. There isn’t a loose ball she won’t give her body up for or any player she won’t try to guard. That competitive edge will serve her well as she grows or gets to compete against the same age of opponent.
