NCAA PROCEDURES All travel teams taking part in the ELITEisEARNED Chicagoland Shootout MUST register their coaches and players with the NCAA through the USA Basketball coaches licensing process(https://www.usab.com/youth/development/coach/process-for-becoming-a-licensed-coach.aspx).

RETURNING COACHES SHOULD RENEW THEIR USA GOLD LICENSE NOT APPLY FOR A NEW ONE

RENEWALS: If you obtained a gold license during the 2020 season you simply need to RENEW your license by taking the refresher course and updating your background check. When logging into your USAB account choose renew. If you request a new license your approval number will change and it could take longer for the NCAA BBCS to clear you to be an eligible coach. • Domestic Applicant Annual Fees

• This license is valid from the day of completion through August 31, 2021, and only available to applicants who possess a valid U.S. Social Security number.
• $68.00 – Through May 2021.
• $136.00 – If registering June-August 2021.

Teams that are younger than the NCAA PSA age cutoff must still be in compliance with NCAA/BBCS certification. You must register your teams, coaches and players the same as the older teams.
