Evaluations

October 2021: Hicks was thrown into a deep pool of talent at the Wootten 150 camp.  The awesome part was watching Hicks figure out what worked against that elite level of competition and her strength and physicality were it.  She had some post touches but she also used face-up opportunities and worked the glass well.
February 2021: Hicks seems to be gaining more and more confidence.  She imposed her will throughout the weekend playing a physical brand of basketball that few could handle.  She had multiple matchups with players several inches taller than her but her use of her body and her strength gave her all she needed to make an impact.  She posts big, sets fantastic screens and has terrific feel around the basket.
September 2020: Hicks patience and strength in the paint were noteworthy.  She is one of the few young prospects we’ve seen recently with good interior scoring skills.
